Chiropractic
Low force joint manipulation and soft tissue techniques focused on improving nervous system health and whole body biomechanics. I use a variety of soft tissue techniques to improve systemic health through fascial manipulation, active release technique(ART), myofascial decompression(cups with movement), and craniosacral therapy.
I also employ nervous system focused exercises to improve the brains connection to your body, decrease threat perception and gain resilience to everyday life and its challenges. Working with cranial nerves and somatically focusing on physical issues can have profound effects.

Dr. Rachel Knight
Book NowFocused Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (EWST)
How it works: Focused sound waves create mechanical stress on dysfunctional tissue, triggering the bodies natural healing response. The impact of the sound waves on tissue stimulates cell proliferation, increases blood flow, improves scar tissue density and breaks down calcifications within soft tissues. Procedure: A hand held by Dr. Rachel therapy source/wand is used with some gel to deliver the sound waves to the affected tissue region, the sensation is of mild to moderate discomfort normally of an aching variety where the tissue is damaged. Some mild soreness the next day is a common side effect but sometimes patients feel perfectly great afterwards. No limits to physical activity are necessary.
Conditions treated include but are not limited to: Calcific Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Tendonitis/Tendinopathy of all tendons, Neuromas, Fascial dysfunction including from Fibromyalgia, Stress fractures to improve speed of healing, General Myofascial pain, Scar tissue densities such as keloids, Nerve Entrapments due to soft tissue dysfunction, Carpal tunnel, Peripheral Neuropathy depending on the cause.
Benefits of this non- invasive treatment include: Soft tissue healing, reduced inflammation, reduced pain levels and improved range of motion at restricted joints.
